Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and her husband Prince Frederik wrapped up their whirlwind three day tour of Japan with a fashion show on Saturday.
The royal couple were given front row seats to view a collection of sealskin wares by Danish haute couture designer Jesper Hovring, in Tokyo.
A department store in the city's popular shopping district of Shibuya was transformed into an impromptu runway to host the special guests who dressed up for the occasion.

Designs included a patterned vest and three-quarter length coat made from seal pelt, a common material used in Greenland for its water resistance qualities.
Continuing in the realm of fashion, the Prince and Princess, who are representing Greenland in Japan, also toured local design school Mode Gakuen which has cooperated with Great Greenland and Kopenhagen Fur to introduce sealskin to new Japanese designers.

Later taking to the streets of the bustling district, the loving couple posed for photos against the backdrop of a myriad of advertising signs.
They were also welcomed to a lunch at the Imperial Palace where they were greeted by the Emperor of Japan himself Akihito, and his wife Empress Michiko.
Adhering to formalities Mary gave a deep curtsy before the Empress.
In 2009, president of the United States Barack Obama caused a stir in his home country when he was photographed bowing at the waist to the Emperor in a similar manner.
Many commentators voiced the opinion that the president should not bow to a foreign head of state or symbolic monarch but officials responded by saying it was 'protocol' in Japan.
